EZPass
From EZ-Flash Wiki
The EZPass is the EZTeam's version of the passme device.
The passme is a small piece of hardware that is able to trick a DS into loading code from the GBA slot whilst the DS is running in DS mode thus enabling unsigned code to be run including commercial roms if they are patched.
You will need a commercial game too when using most passme devices. The third generation models work around the encryption in place and there is a few versions that have a game built in.
The EZPass, or EZPass1 as it might be known, is based around the first models of the passme and so will not work with the iQUE DS (a model of the DS that was made for the chinese market and includes a chinese charcter set and some enhanced security) or some of the later model DS's, see the article on the EZPass 2 for ways to check whether the EZPass will work for you.
If you want a passme type device to run in a later model ds you will have to use the updated code when constructing it, reflash your CPLD with the new code or get a new model passme known as the passme 2. The EZTeam have a passme 2 model known as the EZPass 2 but it is limited in the commercial carts that can be used to make it function.
The EZPass differs in some major ways from a normal passme in that it does not use the xilinx CPLD that most of the other passme variants use.
