Hi, so far I've had no problems with EZ-Flash(worth mentioning I guess), so hopefully getting help with this situation won't be hard... o.o I have a EZ-Flash II and III, but my EZ-Flash II's linker is missing. I'm trying to use EZ-Flash III's linker with my EZ-Flash II... I just hope they're compatible.

I recently reinstalled Windows and was trying to install the drivers. I got the 3.25 EZClient and installed them probably fairly similar to how I did when I first got it working. Anyway, I installed them and got prompted to restart by Windows so I did.

I then ran EZClient and got the LED blinking as usual. I then plug in my EZ-Flash II cart but sadly the LED just stays solid red while EZClient just says it's analyzing... My only option seems I have to close EZClient now since it's stuck, and to do this I have to remove the linker and kill the process...

I've tried 3.26, and 3.11 also. They give the same results. Tried loading some actual games and they got read by the linker fine... :(

I need your help guys, even the smallest bit of info can go a long way :) I just hope this isn't a compatibility issue... I also tried the EZ mode, but the options were grayed out... :\

There are 2 types of linker you will have/have had.
Version 1 is probably what your EZ2 used.
Version 2 is what you have now and is used for ealier EZ3's
Version 3 ships with all newer EZ1/2/3's and is what EZMode is for.

Version 3 is the only one one to be used on all three devices.

You are left with having to buy a new linker, fortunately a few places do them Jandaman being the only place that springs to mind right now:

Arr oh well I guess. Was thinking of buying a new one but wasn't sure it'd be compatible. I bought both my EZ-Flash kits from Jandaman hehe.

Edit: Found it, as usual in a place that doesn't suit sanity... I hate it when people move my stuff... Again, thanks for the help :)
