it wont run on moonshell 2, using ezv, the screen freezes on Eject the Flashcard and insert the bricked one....
Ok, i can confirm this freeze. That's strange. I have a solution for you. Download the hbmenu from sourceforge here : http://sourceforge.net/projects/devkitpro/files/hbmenu/ Extract the file boot.nds on your ezV and launch it. Once in hbmenu, place the cursor * in front of the unbricker .nds file and run it. It should run properly.
@cannedpasta : your ez5i is in v106a and not bricked, you don't need to update in v107 to be able to use the kernel 3.0ob7 on your 3DS.
@all : Ok, i have the v1.01 and it's tested working. Expect a release very soon.

I'm trying 1.01 with my Vi now. Looks like it's detecting my cart, since now it identifies it as: Your bricked card HD=705 Your bricked card Firmware=106
Looks like it's working. After the process, it's showing up in the main menu as Guilty Gear DS.

I tried the unbricker and it threw 4 keys at me after re-inserting the bricked card which I have to mail to the mail address specified in the readme. I just mailed 'em.
Am I the only one who has mailed them? I'm curious what you're able to detect using that four keys.
I'm on HW=805 and my bricked FW was 103. Hope to hear soon...

You will receive a dedicated tool for your ez5i. Once used i advice you to delete it as it's only ment for one case of bricking that will probably never happen twice.
And no you are not the only one who had to email those keys.

Works! Unbricked my card using the customly made unbricker. I seriously thought this would never happen, but thanks to your support it's alive again. In my whole IT career and experience I learned that if you break something with firmware, it'll be dead for sure. From now on, with thanks to the effort of the EZ-team, I'll have to change my point of view for that.
It's pure magic.
THANKS! But please, don't you ever make bad firmware again...
