hi,

like the topic says, does every game randomly freeze with my GBA. I wonder if this is a general problem, a friend of mine
told me, that he has similar stability issues and someday gave up using it.

Multiple games on my card, including goomba emulator.. even the old tetris is crashing after some minutes...

please help :)

Are you using a microSD to miniSD adapter or a small/cheap miniSD?

The adapters are terrible and bad miniSD cards (the sort of 64 meg things you might find in phones) all have a bad habit of causing this. I know it is hard to source proper miniSD cards these days but do try to get one.

Similarly make sure contacts on the card are in good condition- it has been quite a while since they started to be a made and dirty contacts can cause a similar thing.

If by hardware you mean "is it my adapter?" then yeah that would be a good bet.

hm okay, but because a friend of mine had told me 1-2 years ago, that he had similar problems with his ez4 and someday gave up trying to solve this. dont know what kind of card he used. its hard for me to believe, that it's the card, because kingston probably the most used sd-card (but i'm not really into that thing) on the market and i dont know what kind of card i could use instead ... :(

The microSD card is probably fine (if you got it from a good source then it is, got it from China or Hong Kong and yeah) but the adapter (and 99% of other adapters) are unworkable for the EZ4. If you want keep the microSD for a phone or something else that wants it but the adapter is pointless.

so instead of using a micro-sd card, i should try to get a mini-sd card without adapter to solve that issue?

my friend just told me, that he used a mini-sd card, but not any better :( my brother never had any issues with his supercard
