EZ-Flash USA Forum

hi guys today i have received my ez flash vi, because i don't know his firmware versión i try last kernell download , that with comes with 103, i try load this and nothing happens D:!. the kernell doesn't run.

After that i try K30.0B1, the first release with firmware 101, and try load this kernell and nothing happens:(.

then i try RC17 for try to update v12 o v14, but this kernells doesn't run:(. no one of those kernell boots, mi order of booting whas the previus:S,

1) what can i do?.
2) is my flashcart bricked?,
3) how can i unbrick it?.
4) i have other ez flash vi, but i fear brick other ones:'(, plz what is the correct procedure if i doesn't know what is the firmware of my ez flash. my ez flash is the black and yellow letters

So ... you try to run your EZ5i on which console ?
DS/DSLITE/DSI/DSI XL/3DS ?
Is Tak icon seen in the console menu ?

I was using a Nintendo Ds lite, this was so strange, at last i fix it.

my problem was the micro Sd, both were formatted with sd Formatter, but i only try with one, after a lot of wrong tries, i use my other micro SD and this works fine, :S both micro SD memories are kingston, but i think, one isn't genuine?, look, at the left the working one, at the right the problematic micro Sd.

Sad to say but both are fake. C04G part number is a Toshiba part number.
Toshiba only produce their microSD in Japan not in Taïwan.

do you know how recognise fake micro SD?, my micro sd are purchased in focalprice :S. nice info thanks you .
