Tetris US version had a patch:

I was under the impression metroid works with a 2mbit flash saving game in the DS slot, you might also want to try prepatching with EZ4Client.
You can grab a list of 2mbit flash saving games at ADVANsCEne:

Click advanced search, tick NDS release, change the search for box to Save Type, enter no quotes "Flash - 2 Mbit" in the box and hit search.

Of course you can now forget all this seen as EZClient 3.26 has been released:

If i have the original game, but i don't want to use it to not destroy it... why i would like to have it in the ds slot to use the save memory...???
