Has anyone managed to get Spongebob Boating Bash (E) running on a EZ-Flash Vi / 805 with firmware 101 and Kernel 3.0.OB1?

Dosen't work for me on my Toshiba Japan 8GB SDHC... Toshiba Cards are not bad, right?

you need to decrypt the rom for it to work, I used eNDryptS Avanced to decrypt my clean rom

you can download it here http://www.no-intro.org/gbadat/tools/eNDryptS_Advanced_v1.2_NDS-iND.zip

Instruction(UPDATED: thanks to Mbmax)
1.) Create a new folder on your desktop and extract eNDryptS Advanced.exe and PatchEngine.dat inside that folder
2.) Put your rom inside that folder
3.) For Vista and Windows 7 users -> Right click eNDryptS Advanced.exe and select "Run as administrator"
4.) Type 1 (a message should show 1 rom(s) successfully patched press any key to close window)
5.) Done. You can now close the program

copy the rom to your microSD, the game works for me even without special mode

Hi have to report an important issue on this upgrade. :(

I have
ds lite ver H[805] F[101] K3.0 OB1

updated and installed firmware and kernel without any problem to play rom 4986 - rooms, rom worked good.

I launched one of my older rom "mario and luigi bowser inside story" this rom crashed the card. When I rebooted the ds blocked in the booting process.

I formatted the card reinstalled kernel, roms without romdat directory, and now every rom launched cause the total freeze of the ds!!

There is enough space on the card and is not fragmented as it was jast formatted

Card is unusable now. Please let me return to older firmware and kernel.

:help:

I doubt it's an issue with this new kernel + firmware. If it was the case, it's not one report i will see on this forum but several and it's not the case.

So now please try if you can with another microSD to see if you still have this strange issue.

I think the problem is with your microSD card, I played mario and luigi bowsers inside story for 2 hours and I didn't experience any problem, try checking your microSD for errors,
-> format your microSD using Panasonic Formatter, if you don't have it you can download it here: Download
use settings shown below

Image

-> after formating open command prompt in windows then type chkdsk /f /r x: (change x: to the drive letter of your microSD in my case I used f:).
Image

-> If there are no errors put your files back and a fresh copy of kernel inside your microSD,

Also like Mbmax said try another microSD card just to be sure.

Umm, I was reading on the EZflash Vi and I noticed that it says that you can copy/past and delete files from the NDS. I can't really confirm if it actually could since I put in the Kernel 3.0 OB1 right after I got my EZFlash. So anyway, I was wondering if there were any functions that were removed from the 3.0 OB1 that I should be aware of. I know that changing the light is one of the things that doesn't seem to work and from what I can tell copy/delete doesn't either. I was also wondering if Using a NDS lite has some functions that don't work that would work on NDSi.

Oh before I forget, if I put in a firmware that was suppose to be for another card (I use an 705 and I put a 805 firmware) would that cause any problems? Thanks for answering any problems I currently asked.

Yeah this bug is already reported and fixed in the current private kernel build.
Wait next kernel update. ;)

@kaiserd : download moonshell 2.10 and install it from your PC with the installer program, set up.exe.
