I'm currently in search of a GBA flash cart. I was really interested in the EZ-Flash III for the real-time clock but it seems they are sold out everywhere. I was just wondering before I buy an EZ-Flash IV, does it let you boot games without the loader? Like if you just put the cart into a GBA and boot it up with a single game it will just run it like a real game? Or is the loader mandatory?
Also, not related but, does anyone know of another flash cart that works on GBA and has a real-time clock? I've was hoping that the EZ-Flash V would but found it only runs on NDS.

Your requests sound like you have a very specific need. Since there are very few RTC games out there I strongly suggest you just buy the real cartridge. You'll get fully functioning RTC and single rom boot straight from the cart. Almost all games are very affordable now from places like ebay.
There is a very ugly kludge that can allow you to do it but for the most part consider the loader mandatory. No RTC on the EZ4 either (few game used it and most of those have patches).
Other than that bugnot answered as I would although I would note that if you can find and EZ2 it has all you want.
