Thanks, but I used an other way to fix it.
Made a backup from the SAVE folder, deleted the complete folder, started up Professor Layton en de doos van Pandora, the SAVE folder was created automaticaly together with Professor Layton en de doos van Pandora.sav, than copied back al my save files. In the save folder I now have
Professor Layton and the curious Village.sav and Professor Layton en de doos van Pandora.sav
Both work fine now without problems.

Hi,

i have a question. Recently, I have brought a NDSI with EZVi. I have installed the new Kernel 2.0 RC7. Everything is working fine. I would like to upgrade the NDSI Firmware to 1.4 (in order to access the DSI shop and use the facebook application). Can I do this without a Problem. Or do I have to upgarde the Firmware of the card??? (I don't see were I can do this)?

Best regards......

Be sure to have the last firmware on your EZ5i before doing the DSi firmware update.
For now it's v14 for [705] model and v12 for [805] model.
Check this thread : viewtopic.php?f=16&t=13991

@all : to those who are again experiencing FAT 2 problem, but on /SAVE folder now, this bug is almost fixed now. I hope for a kernel update soon along with some AP fixes.
As told, if you use release numbers in game's name (example : 0201 mario kart DS.nds), this will not happen.

RC7 had been working fine until I tried the Japanese ROM Picross 3D (which worked fine under RC6).
Just get a blank white screen. Have to use the power button to return the DSi to the main menu.
All the other ROMs I have tried so far work fine. (BTW - putting RC6 back on the EZ Flash Vi solved the problem.)

After I download the ROMs that I like, I rename the ROM file - taking off the numbers before the game name and the info (usually the name of the party who ripped the rom) after it. This has never caused a problem before with the ROM not working - it is the same exact renamed ROM file that has worked on all the previous versions of the kernel software.
Thanks anyway

I've posted this problem before, when 1.90 was still the main kernel:

All my cheat codes that require button presses (e.g. Press Select to do whatever) still refuse to work, while all cheat codes that don't require button presses (e.g. Always have maximum whatever) work perfectly fine.

I thought that it might have been because cheat codes in 1.90 required pressing L+R+Start, which would conflict with pressing buttons to activate cheat codes.

But in 2.0 kernels it still has the same problem.

Any ideas?

Above 2 posts:That`s still a problem with me,if anyone has a solution I`d also be intersted.

You're using kernel 2.00 right?

If you're sure you have USRCHEAT.DAT in the EZ5Shell folder, make sure you have SoftReset and Cheats turned ON in the options menu. Also check to see if you turned the cheat on.
If that still doesn't work, maybe you're using a cheat code of the type "Press Select to do whatever" that requires a button press. For some reason, those types of cheats won't work. (See my post that's three posts above this one.)

GTA: Chinatown wars runs horribly on RC7, it's slow and crashes quite a lot, even after reformatting my SD card.
