Hello,

I'm pleased to be here, because I am a big fan of Nintendo games since the NES era, and now with my GBA SP, things got better with newer games I have. Actually this is my first post, and my apologies for posting 1st in a non introduction section.

The reason behind, well, I am in quite of a hurry finding answers to my question... Is it possible to skin EZ-flash IV in a GBA? Because all of the skins available in the EZF4 sections are all for NDS, or I could be wrong. Can I use it on my GBA? I kinda like the skins posted above the section with previews on them.

Hope someone can have a quick answer for this, because I'm planning to buy the EZF4 by next week. Hopping that maybe, I can't put to good use to it than putting games in it.

Thanks,
gundam_obelisk

Yes it is possible.

The tool to do it is the same one to do the DS skins, EZSkinner is a basic tool viewtopic.php?f=13&t=1590 although if you poke around in the skins forum you should have more.

Background; there are two loaders on the EZ4 inbuilt and it uses whatever one is necessary (DS if you can load DS code from the GBA slot and GBA if not, GBA loader if you are in a GBA type device (GBA, GBA SP, GB player....).
Some authors redid the GBA side of things but not all of them by any means, good news is you can usually use the EZ3 skins (the loaders are nearly identical and we should have most of the EZ3 skins we ever saw mirrored on this site too).

A minor point with the skinning tools as I doubt you will affect you is that the hacked loader from modulo that you will probably end up using also had a spinoff version that only had the GBA (attempts to load the DS loader instead loaded the GBA); the skinning tools have trouble with this version and it confers no real advantage so we do not suggest using it.

Thanks man, I appreciate the reply. And, yah I use GBA SP handheld as my game player. Well... I tried the skinner stuff and downloaded a few skins from here and quite frankly, the skinner is not for average users, I mean, I know something but, using the skinner is far too difficult at this point.

I think using these skins in the forum will do, but it's a lot more different if your making one. Thanks again.
