They can keep IPlayer unblocked because they must have a name thing of which flash cards to block,if you put a pre-gen flash card in it ,it remains undentified...mmaybe I am wrong...
Anyway it`s good to have proof they`re working on it.

Iplayer is not produced under Nintendo licence, so it's considered like a foreign flashcart.
Now this team will probably consider in doing a rom loader has big N decided to block their product.

I dont know why they didnt in the first place. This just pushes them to a decision.

Still sounds stupid to me the way companies keep trying to stop piracy. They should know it'll be cracked a few days later so why bother putting all those hours into it. Why dont they put more effort into actually making a better product/service and leave the piracy alone as it will always be here. All this has done is made people think between buying a DSi and a DS Lite. There will now be more DS Lites sold because of this.

And I completley agree with you Faerie,Nintendo should learn from Sony that no matter how much times they block it,It'll alway be cracked

Any word from the EZ team on how they are going?

Does it look like a patch will be here soon or is the new protection harder than it looks?

Maybe IPlayer didn`t want to be blocked by Nintendo and that`s why they never put any emulation on it.Also when the Firmware`s been cracked there should be an up-front announcement and is theere any news update?

There is an article at GBAtemp that the developer of the R4i flashcart has figured out a way around the Nintendo protection scheme. So there is hope for all flashcarts. (Perhaps they will share their secret with other manufacturers or is that asking too much?)

Hi guys,

I have the same problem. My EZ-Vi card doesn't work on my dsi. I've bought my dsi one week ago and I have never installed an update yet but I think the firmware 1.4 was probably allready installed. Is that possible? (I come from germany)

But if the release wil come next week it's hopefuly no problem any longer.

But how can I install a release on my flashcard? can give me anybody of you an introduction? I'm not very used to do such things. So step by step would be fine. :help:

It would be very nice if somebody could help me. Thanks.
