The EZTeam have released another pre-alpha version of the upcoming 2.0 kernel based on Moonshell 2.0. Like the older "taste version" this lacks the extra features like cheats, soft reset and savestates. It was a released to mark the one year anniversary of the 2008 Sichuan/Wenchuan earthquake. This version adds brightness adjustment and fixes

I know windirt you are going to see this so I'm gonna say just few things about this kernel. I'm not going to say anything that it's lacking features 'cause I know its 'pre-alpha taste'.
What I heard is that the engine was rewritten? Then why is that games that did not work in 1.90 also does not work on this kernel? Did you even rewrite the code?
The game still does not work as I reported decades ago, while you have fixed latest games. Please care about foreign customers. They can't speak English very well and I'm standing up for them so don't just think I'm the only one and make priority of the bug fix gets down.
I know it is a 'taste' version, but I see compatibility fixes and now you can't say that the kernel does not care about game compatibility at the moment.
Now, again, DS #3659: Magic Cheonjamun DS (Korea) does not work. And the kernel displays nothing on the icon & name display if the game is from Korea.

Those games works with this kernel. You just have to think about the softreset mode when a game crash or doesn't start. In user setting window, try first the softreset in "mode 2" and if it doesn' work you turn it OFF.

Care to fix it?
I have a question for a long time. Is the koren DS has a Korean language setting in the DS menu? if do so. it will explain lot of things..

Yes. They removed Italino, I believe and fill Korean in. Fun fact about softwares from Korea is that if you insert a Korean DS original cart in a non-Korean DS platforms, it displays English instead of Korean.
Oh also, I'm not sure if the team is even testing, but if you load a game the save file with the exactly same name is created with capitalized .SAV extension. If you try to delete that one, since Windows file system is case insensitive, it will delete the old one.
I had few game saves died in that way and couldn't even restore them. I don't blame anyone. It's just 'pre-alpha' in the end, isn'ti it?
But this bug was reported last time and you better not leave these critical issues behind when its REPORTED.
And ... please don't create a stuff like the bug tracker if you are not going to even use it. I haven't done much thing reported there, but there are lots of people's effort on it but it seems most of them are just ignored.

EZFlash Vi, latest firmware, and this version as well as the taste version, the lower screen touch functions do not work in the main shell. All functions must be performed using the buttons. Touch screen does work as expected when the ROMs are running. Also does not find mp3 nor dpg files to play any multimedia. Guess I should note this is on a DS Lite.

Touch controls not working for me either. How do I know if brightness adjustment is working?
And, worst of all, games won't load. The loading bar gets stuck at about 9/10 and the game won't load. I tried different games to no avail. The loading always gets stuck.
