Here is the new beta for the EZ5 (all versions, note the EZ5i needs to use 1.90 open beta 6 or higher).

this may sound like a stupid question but what do i need to do to update to beta from 1.86h?

i have an original EZV...1gb kingston (J)

do i just drag it over or do i need to hold the R button?

i'm afraid of bricking

gzimmer77, just copy the files onto your SD. The bootstrap hasn't been updated since they moved the main program to SD, so once you have done that (or if you have a newer one that has it already done from factory) it doesn't need to be done again.

Received a new EZ5i card, so had to load the 1.90 ob8
Now rumble on my 3in1 is not working anymore. I read that this is a bug in the beta versions, is there more known about a fix for this problem??

This bug is already reported and normally windirt know it.
I will update the thread in Chinese bbs giving the link to your post.

It's a ez 3in1 v1, v2 or Plus ?
Also have you tried the opera RAM ?

And of course i suppose you have tested with the field "Rumble ON" before tried rumble, right ?

I have the new3in1 also detected as new3in1 with GBA Exploader.
I tried starting Opera Browser and received the following message: Memory Expansion Required.
Is that also a bug with the beta version???, it used to work wirh my prior EZV5 card.

OK. So it's a v2.
Yep, opera ram doesn't work at all on EZ5i and every version of ez 3in1.
Also here you have selected GBAlink ON, right ? (just to be sure)

And don't panic, the ez5i is the most upgradable flashcart in the market, so for sure they will fix that.

I now have a V3 3in1 (3in1pls), changed it with a friend, hope the EZ team will bring a new new version out soon, so I can start using the rumble feature again.

Hello. I just want to state that the firmware had resolved my problem with the 3in1 when the rumble feature and the expansion feature did not work in DS games. Both respective features work as they should. Although last night I noticed the problem returned from an unknown cause, the issue went away after a reformat via Panasonic's software.

I would just like to say thank you Mbmax and Fast6191 for hearing me out on the mirc channels.

I have a friend who is experiencing freezing issues with the ezflash Vi while using a Kingston 4GB SDHC but I already see the issue is being worked on. I hope for a timely resolution.
