I've been attempting to play a few of my GBA games on my Micro using my newly aquired cart, and cames like Super Mario Advance 4, Zelda, The Minish Cap, and various others tell me the save data is corrupted. Is there a way to fix this?
I'm not aware of the Minish Cap issue but the SMA4 problem is common and easily fixed under certain circumstances.
One of the "scene releases" of the super Mario advance 4 came with a save file that you used along side the ROM. That save file fixes the corrupt memory problem. If you can find this save just rename it to correspond with your ROM and place it in the saver folder on your SD card. (hint: it'll only be included with the ROM)
Otherwise you could try creating a similar save using an emulator.
There are patched ROMs available that may also fix this issue.
You also check NoFrills GBA (just search it) for an SMA4 patch that may help. If you need help search the web for "ips patching tutorial".
