So the only thing that can stops this idea is the GBA loader that could be slower when SRAM save is backuped in NOR than in DS mode.
If i were a coder from ez team i will give a try to that for sure !!

Just something i think about, the NOR method to store saves doesn't help if battery is dead because when you turn off your GBA or DS nothing has copied the save from SRAM to NOR, right ? This process happen only when you switch to another game, no ?

Yep, i have reported that (look at my edit 6). No backup save process when we switch between the two mode.
