I'm wondering if there is an app out there that would let me store my GBA roms on my Slot 1 card (R4), then transfer them to the EZ Flash Cart (256Mb) and boot them. I've seen there is gbaldr for the EZ Flash 4 and there is a homebrew app called FAS1 (FlashAdvance Slot 1) that can write to FlashAdvance carts, is there anything that supports EZ Flash I?

There is nothing that presently supports the EZ1/2 for that sort of thing unfortunately.

The only thing that comes remotely close is the third party (PC based) flashing tool for EZ1s:

Thanks, auto backup and writing of my save files when I choose the rom sounds nice, I might try this as the flasher prog I use on my pc.

I guess I will just use my computer each time I want to change GBA games, its probably a faster write anyways :P

My friend is looking to buy a DS Lite today, I wonder if I can convince him to buy my EZ Flash :P then I could just go buy a the 3 in 1 or something (cause that supports writing from Slot 1 to Slot 2 right?) Does the 3 in 1 fit in an older DS or just DS Lite?

There are both standard GBA cart sized 3 in 1's and lite sized ones. I dare say the former will be harder to get ahold of though as they were released later.

I found a store that sells the full GBA sized 3 in 1 for $25, they have local pickup, but I'm checking if that's just at their main location in Montreal, or if the other phone numbers on their site have local pickup locations too, after all it could just be a local number that routes to the montreal location.. :|
