Method: run through EZ4 client, append ndsloader.bin to beginning to create .ds.gba
Result: two white screens
Method: run through LoadMe with Mode1 and Mode2
Result: EZManager crashes on both
Now I'm really NEEDING a new flash cart! My wife has been waiting for this game ever since I told her about/showed her it so she's thinking about a new flash cart too.

I hear WRG have something in the works, much like tetris and MK, (effectively) pure speculation at this point however and should it come to light it will be posted (if not only because I want to play).
Edit1: it seems to be released, usual haunts do not seem to have it yet and I am lacking in a decent IRC client right now.
Rom appears to be in prepatched format at the minute, I will make a patch at some point (possibly in NINJA format as IPS falls flat with DS roms) if I have to.
Edit: Wow what an amazing game! It's so similar to the original SMB yet so different! A few cool things I noticed:
You can pick up turtles, springs, etc
There is a flying block and if you enter the area that it is flying over you can get a cool powerup like a turtle suit
If you hit a coin block so that you get enough coins coming out you will get a mushroom too
You can have an item in 'store' and can use it when you need a powerup
When you get hit and you have a powerup better than normal big Mario you turn into normal big Mario instead of small Mario like the original SMB
I'm sure this is just the tip of the iceburg!
BTW Use the 256 side with EZM 2.10 and have loader 1.04. Flashed DSes require booting off a pass device. Hold Select while you power on the DS.
Edit 2: Hmm nevermind about using a pass device. For some reason it didn't work the first time I tried it w/o a pass device in. I just tried again and it does work with just FlashMe.

I made an IPS patch for it and it was 17M big. Far too big for a standalone patch.

@cracker. I did the same thing. Even compressing it well with 7Z reduced it down to 9meg. Still too big. I then applied the patch to the file and it stayed at 32meg, and didn't cut down to the 20meg the wrg file is.
So I don't know whether the IPS would work properly anyway.
Yeah you could cut it down to the same size. IPS is a 'dumb' patching system. It doesn't complain if a file is bigger or smaller than the target file that produced the patch. If a file that is having the patch applied is smaller then it is padded with 00 to write the addresses it is told to. If it is bigger then it won't chop off the file to match the target's file size. Still that's a good thing because I'd rather strip a file manually than let a patch mess it up if it was wrong.
