After a morning of round-the-globe cooperation OSW (@Australia) and I (@the Canary Islands, Spain), managed to get two new DLDI Drivers for SuperCard ONE and Ez Flash v4, both able to do unaligned R/W (all tests passed in dldi_tester.nds and homebrews).
More info (and the drivers) on my blog: http://blog.dev-scene.com/barni/ Cheers! Guido
barni pretty much did the work, i was the assistant tester.
I have confirmed it to work on both my kingston microsd, and my sandisk (which in the past only worked with the ALT DLDI).
They allow some previously problematic homebrew to run (which required unaligned R/W) ie. LMP-NG, and for the slower sd cards, i think R/W is faster (i don't know if this will affect compatibility)
Quote:
I fixed the reg one to support both unaligned r/w and slower cards (without affecting throughput as in the alt driver, which was slow as hell).
Guido
I hope others can confirm this working with their carts (particularly ones that only worked with the ALT DLDI)
Thanks for the heads up OSW. I am in a bit of a rush but I will certain test it later (and probably bundle it with the new clients).
Oh and I do not know if it will prove any use for anyone but here is a DS side DLDI patcher (not quite autopatching but it makes my life a bit easier, it is a port of the original command line DLDI patcher):

Good job. A really welcome DLDI.
I couldn't get my RTS4DS project to run on my EZ-Flash 4, and this new DLDI fixed it.
