Yeh, it happens a lot. The EZTeam forget to update their version numbering system all over the place. Set 1 global variable for the version info and you've only got to change 1 thing each time.... I guess they don't work like this.

Has anyone else noticed that when they drag and drop games in 2.09AA it deletes them after it flashed them to the cart?

Yes. Rotten thing. It's a P.I.T.A. I was playing around with some ripped roms and the next thing I know, they're gone ! It does the same for .sav files. Since EZManager won't auto copy sav files for NDS roms (what's up with that ?!), I copy them over manually and bam, they're gone of the HD. I usually hit backup saver immediately after copying them to the cart so I still have a backup copy.

Hmm, I'm starting to think we should start a thread for all the things broken in EZManager and present it to the EZTeam. They might ignore it, they might not. Either that or we send it to Raeca personally. I have a feeling he's more the hardware guy than anything, but if it gets to someone, maybe they'll fix a few of the problems.

Sounds like an idea .. But if I compare development of the EZflash with other carts, I have a feeling they just will ignore it. Sometimes I even wonder if they understand english at all.

I don't know if I would say that exactly. The only real issue is that EZFlash is kind of a closed enviorment that works pretty significantly differently from the large majority of the carts out on the market. Only the EZ Team programs for the EZFlash, yet they've gotten quite a bit done. Probably more than the other cart manufacturers have. If you look back before the DS scene started up, EZFlash was kind of the cream of the crop.

The issue really only comes with homebrew. The EZFlash is a bit alienated from the homebrew scene because of its chip setup (small loader section complicates things).

No one knows when things will change. Wait to see what happens with the EZ4. And please, don't discuss that in this thread. It's the wrong place for it.

Now, if we can all (including me) get back on topic, it would be good.

Looks like version 10 broke some other stuff, as you cannot write past X amount on the 1gb section.

Small games now work like a charm, but anything larger than ~50MB it will stop writing and freeze.

(this is based on my own testing, and reports from the chinese forum)

Hopefully 2.10.xx will fix

I just recieved my EZ Flash II 4G, and I have had a couple problems with the latest Manager version (2.10). First, when I try to update EZ Loader, I get an error message halfway through that says "an unnamed file was not found", also, when I format the 4G section I get a message at the end that pops up like an error, and it is in another language. I know some of these issues have been addressed, but with the main website down, I can't find any patches to fix these problems. Any help is appreciated!

WHY is the 2.10 3.59 Mb and the 2.20 only 1.59 Mb ?

2.20 doesn't have the cheats included in the archive.

is it true though that with 2.10/2.20 a lot of games are not working anymore?
was reading that somewhere, that games that worked with 2.09 are not working anymore.

Yeah the compatibility varies with every version of EZManager 2.09-2.10. But I think that if you ran every game through the EZ4 Client and then flashed it with 2.10/2.20 a lot would work. It just takes so long to test games so I'll leave that up to someone else.
