it is possible to convert an mp3 into a spc? and to add it to a rom?

I tried, the closest thing is SNESAMP for winamp, but it only allows you to play them and convert them in mp3, so no result at all. or not?

heh, actually all I can find is spc to mp3 conversion, not the other way around. :-/

Sound hacking is generally regarded as one of the hardest areas of rom hacking with insertion of entirely new sounds being the hardest of all. None the less have a read of some of the docs here:

Be warned that it will not be easy (ASM and the like will be needed) and MP3 files will probably have to be turned to some form of midi to do any good.
