unsupported ftp functions(limitation of dsftp):
rename directory
cd up directory (to navigate up, you have to manually goto the parent dir)
i put my nds right next to my router and measured the speeds it gets
approx 8 KB/s upload to nds and 5 KB/s download or so
this is probably a limitation on the fat writing speed?

Do you have a supercard to test your builds on... perhaps there is some mismatch with your toolchains and such (so it would be slow for both). IDK, drives me nuts when I try to get something working with a new driver and I am not sure which version of dswifi, libnds and dkpro to use (in DSFTP it is R18 I think).
I mentioned it to Infantile a while back, and since then he has been putting DK/libnds versions a text file in his builds
There are a few things that can still be done to optimize the EZ driver, I'll see what I can do during this week. For now though... IT WORKS!!! YAAAY. Best news I've had all week to be sure.
i'll try installing the r18 toolchain, building in r17 gives me some errors on both versions 2.21 and 2.3 (i think its not properly reading/linking the libDSFTP.a file) so hopefully r18 will fix that.
hey cory i tried that old EZ4FAT_write_Demo_NFG file and it writes about 23 blocks a second, which is about 12kb/s...
i'd guess the cart is capable of reading at least 100kb/s based upon the bitrate of video it's able to play... so anyways without any optimization it seems we're limited at 12 for now
also i seem to remember the wifi being capped at 2 Mbit = 250 kb/s
* UNZP added (submitted by Bertrand Augereau) * DS->PC file transfer speeded up a lot (patch to DSWifi submitted by masscat) * Linked with Devkit R18 again (fixes some showstopper bugs) * More bugfixes
show-stopper: an act so striking or impressive that the show must be delayed until the audience quiets down
Might make a difference if you ask me... looking into that stuff about the IPC may also be handy, just to see if it has at least been implemented already (which it should have been). Just a sec and I'll mirror your builds somewhere that isn't rapido.

I know it's a bit late but, I am truly sorry to hear about your father cory. I know how much I miss my own father as well. Thank you for all of the work you do to benefit us. It is appreciated.

Hi Cory, Thank you for your DSO but I couldn't donwload it.... PS : There's a new version of image viewer 0.41 maybe new code for write function
I know, for some reason the mirror ratx gave me isnt responding to http requests (but FTP is working fine). Im just gonna change the previous link to a working one.
Luney: thanks. Its been an entire week now and I still keep expecting dad to be here/there
Just a quick note that the Hombrew Database in DSO does actually work.
When you start downloading, progress will get to around 100000 bytes (at 40kb/s) then seemingly freezes.
If you wait long enough, it will eventually download a file to the root of your DS. The Polarium demo (800k) took around 7 minutes to download.
The catch is when running it, it leads to a a freeze on black screens. On a reset, it then attempts to write a save. Most likely caused because it isn't patched.

interesting, my guess is the first 128kb or so is loaded directly into memory, and then it slows down when it actually writes the data to disk
