You need to have some extra DLLs or something apparently, you can grab them from the other trainers (Daisenryaku excepted).
I repacked it with the necessary files and put it up on my site, fell free to link/rehost:

To use the trainer extract the zip to a file and put the supermario64 DS v.1.1 (US) rom such as seen here: http://www.advanscene.com/html/Releases ... hp?id=0059

The from a command line run


Burn the resulting SM64trainer.nds to your cart (remember to add a name if you use an EZ4).

I tried it on my EZ4 and it appeared to work fine (all stars in 3rd slot and 99 lives), the bottom screen was courrupted on the trainer intro (no matter as the top one is where the options are).

i tried using this and when i used ez4 client 1.03 to write the patched version, there was a fatal error in the program. what did i do wrong?

Did you happen to mess with the romlistds.txt? If so then you probably don't have an empty line at the bottom. Otherwise, I don't know why you are having a problem because it works fine for me.

no thats not it because all other roms work fine that are on it. when i load the hacked one it says its unplayable, and when i click send the client closes down

Get the updated romlistds.txt and replace the one in sysbin then write it again.

ok, i used the original, untouched version of romlistds. when i click send, it says "Out of Memory" and when I click send again it locks up and my computer freezes and my computer says low on virutal memory. When it said out of memory did it mean virtual memory paging files? And I am fairly sure I am using v1.1 of Super Mario 64.

That's a new one... Did you try restarting your computer and trying again?

Yes I have.. It is a weird error because the client works perfectly with everything else.. Must have converted the rom wrong I guess. Do you need to open command script and do it manually or just run patch.bat with the original file in it?

Wait a sec I think I know what's going on here... There was a bad dump of Mario 64 DS v1.1. Get the patch and apply it to the untrained game. Then apply the trainer to the patched game. You should get a renaming tool to verify the games that you have are good so you won't have problems like this in the future.

i dont think so.. i am way past the first star. the link did not work, but i found the ips patch, and how should i redump the patch? im sure this has been asked already, but do you have a link for ips patchers?

IMO ips XP is the best patcher (at least that I've seen).

i patched it, but i get the same "out of memory" error. maybe its my computer, this trainer isnt that important to me anyways.

Honestly, it is best to just forget out my patch. If you have a flash cart with cheat support use that instead and if you don't then use DSATM to put in the cheats you decide you want. I did all these trainers/hacks way back when only ARDS and a legit copy of the game or a card that supports DipStar (m3 SD) were the only ways to cheat so it was just something for people to use in the meantime but definitely has been replaced with cheat engines in flash carts and DSATM.
