This is my first skin so its not exactly perfect and has a few problems but its came out not too bad i guess.

Has a couple of faults like the pop up window thing not changing for some reason and the select thing has some sort of error at the bottom, not sure why its doing either of these though.

Anyway, heres the download link.

The select issue is a known bug, don't know about the other issue (I'll let skins experts reply) but I really like the style and look of your work.

The select issue is a known issue, and a few threads have workarounds for it. The popups not changing is something I've never run into before, make sure that you've actually overwritten the file and that you're really compliling the files that you think you are.

I was thinking that after the comp we wouldn't see a lot of skins anymore. The two new ones we've had are both excellent and non traditional. Very pleasing to see.

I'd make some good skins if someone would tell me how to make em actually work, I've asked for help on another thread in this forum :-)

If anyone can help there's loads of potential goodness here just need some formatting guidelines I think, or maybe there is a skinning prog update somewhere ?

WOW, great skin.

very slick and clean. Basic design that focuses more on the subtle image you made. I really like it. I hope this inspires some more inpressive work.

With the generous permission from Nexx, here is an alternative version of his skin.

- Modified artwork to work around select bug
- Removed borders around the ROM list to make the design feel more spacious
- Changed font to Quicktype Mono for improved legibility of ROM list

one thing that definitely bothers me is that your artwork like stops at the bottom of the top screen and continues on the bottom screen. This makes that one bow look stretched out and just not as fluid. You should like leave 2 centimeters away from the middle of you artwork, or just make the left bar of the bottom screen straight without the ending of the bow on top...

But I really like this skin and it gives me inspiration to work on some more skins of my own
