I did all the stuff the Nintendo website told me (IP, Subnet, Gateway, DNS) to put into my DS but my brother says the router is not compatible with the DS but the router shows up on the website so I dunno. The only cause I can get is this: Does your router use 802.11g? If your router uses 802.11g, it may default to only the g brand. This setting will not work with the Nintendo DS. Check your router's settings (typically in the "Wireless" tab) and make sure it is set to "Auto," "Mixed," or something similar. Not really sure where I have checked somewhat and what can be changed to that already is. Any help would be grateful.
Ensure the Router is in Auto or Mixed mode. Ensure you have no encryption, or WEP encryption. DS software (as well as the DS and DS Lite) only support WEP. Ensure your DS is within range of the router - computers generally get better signals than handhelds like PSPs and DSes.
