First of all i wanted to say hello to all since iam new here. Iam starting off with a question.

Whenever i played on the flashcard and i saved the game it saved correctly. But after a while when i wanted to play the game again the saved game doesnt want to load anymore and i need to start all over again. It happens with all my games. When i look in the usb mode the save file still exist. I would love to get some help with this problem.

Hello and welcome!

First off, what version of the cart do you have?

Second item, did you charge your cart in the USB writer for 8 hours prior to using it the first time? If your battery is not fully cahrged you will see the issue that you are having...

Thanks for the fast reply. :)

I got an NDS Lite Fire Linker with the newest update. I dont really understand wich version i have. I am kinda new to flash cards and such. I think that, that problem you named might be it. My DS Lite wasnt indeed fully charged. One question Before i am going to charge the battery to its fullest do i first need to delete the games i already put on it? But anyway, I will try it out. If it works then ill write back. :) I am first going on holliday for two weeks so it might take a while to write back.

no, the games on the flash cart will be fine! When you go to charge it, leave it hooked up to your PC as if you were writing a games to the cart, but don't have any flashcart software open. Just leave it hooked up, say after putting a game on the cart, for 8 hours.

you should be fine with the same save files.... if they are saved on your pc then just copy them back over before you load the cart into the gba...

Gamer,

Try loading the saved games into VGBA and see if you can play them from there or not. If you can, the save games are not corrupted and should play fine. If not, then the sav's are most likely corrupted and are no good.

Good idea. I will try it. If they are corrupted does that mean my card is bad? I got 2 times the message that the save is corrupted but the other times the savefiles dissapear i didnt get that message. I already tried a full format and a quick format btw. That didnt work either.

I would not say that if the saves are corrupted that the cart is bad. I would suspect that the original saves might have been funky. Try grabbing your saves again, and loading them in vgba to see what happens...

I will do.

I think i found the problem btw. Last week i went back to the store i bought my nds and cart. The said that it probably was the nds memory. They made an invoice from only the nds for the warrant. Luckily i still have warranty. I need to send it back to Nintendo and then wait.

Thanks again for trying to help btw.
