 Post subject: Ram errors & Clock not setting

HI

I have a new EZ-Flash II that has the following issues

when I test the RAM I get an ERROR message and the clock will not hold its settings?
also when trying to save in-game POKEMON Ruby. it fails with the following message

The Backup memory is damaged or the internal battery has run dry

Do i have a bad cart or Battery?

any help?

It's sounding like the battery hasn't been charged yet. Make sure you charge the cartridge by leaving it plugged into the usb port for at least 8 hours before you start using the cart.
