Hi,
I got the same problem as the people here who could not launch EZclient: EZclient was not running at all, for no particular reason on win XP pro SP2.

I managed to launch it by running it as administrator (real admin, not only admin rights): right click on "ezclient.exe" -> "run as..." -> "the following user" -> administrator

btw: when you don't have an admin password set, it won't work.
try this then:

Start --> execute --> type 'cmd'
In the console type
'net user Administrator <enter your password here>'
