Hello,
I recently obtained a Japanese only game called Mother 3 for the gba. I got it with the sole intent to back it up and then use the translation patch to play it in English. Unfortunatly, when I back up the game, all I get is a 16 megabyte file, when it should be 32 megabytes. The file does not work in any emulator, and the translation patch reads it as, "This is not the orignal Mother 3 ROM, please obtain the orginal, unaltered, japanese version of the game." I'm running ez client 3.5 (the version on their site.) So, am I doing something wrong, do i need updated software someone has made since ez flash 2 was discontinued, or is this device simply not capable of backing up this since its a large game? All my other games such as Metroid and Zelda, backed up and played fine. Please note also, I don't have the flash cartridge, just the device to rip the ROMS.
Also, please no responses saying "just pirate it", ive gone great lengths to aquire this legally. Any help would be MUCH appreciated, I've been dying to play this game.

nvm, this post answered my question- Mother 3 is a 256mbit title and EZClient does not have the ability to autodetect the size of the rom (it defaults to 128Mbit). To rectify this simply type the size of the game in the ROM size box and hit read rom.
