EZ-Flash USA Forum

Hi Friends!!!

I have a wierd problem going on. I got 2 cart's. One is a XG-Flash (EZ 1) and the other is EZ 2 Cart PS.
So, when i open the Ez 2 Writer 1.04 it only sees the Xg-Flash cart, the other cart it sees as a non ez cart.

When i open the Ez Client it reads normal the XG Flash but it freezes when it starts reading the Ez 2 PS cart, when it is analysing the cart.

What should i do?

I have 3 ez-writer tools. (one doesnt light, the other 2 doesnt work well)

i would say your 2z2 ps cartridge is defective, did you try to clean the contacts im both ez2 and ez writer? sometimes is just bad contacts. also try putting some paper with the cartridge in writer for better pressure in contacts

I dont think that my ez2 cart is defective since it works fine on my gbmicro. (With the games i had put into the cart years ago).

I installed the ezmanager3, and it reads the cart normally although it does not burn or delete any game.

What you mean put paper inside the cart?

Renato, you need to track down some different/older versions of the EZClient software when this happens (IIRC I used 3.11 and 3.25 after I got it going.) At least, that was my experience. Make sure you've also run the 'ez_mode' thing and replugged before trying EZClient. As well, it sometimes just takes re-seating the EZ2 a couple times before client recognizes it properly.

Thanks Copy. But when i open Ez_mode it keeps in grey, it means that i can not select an option.

I tried with 3.11 and 3.12 but it does not read the cart. But with 3.17 it stucks at analsying the cart.
