EZ-Flash USA Forum

Yesterday I bought a Gameboy Advanced SP that came with an EZ-Flash 128mb cartridge, so I was wondering how I connect it to my PC? Do I need to buy some adapter or something?

It has 2 Intel Flash drives so I was wondering if maybe I'm supposed to open up the cartridge?

It should come with a cradle/linker as seen on http://www.ezfadvance.com/cards/EZ-Flash.htm (ignore the URL- boring historical nonsense there) or http://www.ezflash.cn/discontinued/ . Any EZ1 linker and many newer EZ3 linkers will do it although there is next to no chance of finding one for sale by itself.

However as it is an EZ1 there might be a slim option if you fancy your soldering skills (no idea if it will work work mind) if you combine something like littlewriter ( http://www.gameboy-advance.net/fal_soft ... writer.htm should still have a copy and maybe allow you to find some more links), http://www.ziegler.desaign.de/GBA/gba.htm#cart%20reader (and the rest of the page there) and maybe a look at http://mootan.hg.to/ as the EZ1 did have some reverse engineering work done on it.

I still have my EZ2 linker (original style so not compatible with an EZ3 but that is OK) and I am quite happy to ID chips and scan things as necessary and might even be persuaded to desolder a few things.
