Howdy! I am the proud owner of a new EZ Flash III, and I'm quite overwhelmed. I'm using EZManager 2.22.

First of all, I left it plugged in for about 16 hours (maybe... I just know that it is quite a bit more than 8 hours). This was before I was aware of the overcharging issue. What are the symptoms of a card that is overcharged?

In addition, every time I reboot my computer, it seems to forget that I installed the drivers for the flash card device. If I reinstall, everything seems to work normally.

I'm very confused about save game files right now. I loaded roms of my games - do I need to do anything else to play them as if they were on their carts? It seems like I'm all set if I don't make use of special features.

I'm interested in that save-anywhere feature but I am clueless.

PocketNES is another thing I'd like to explore, but that is a bit far off until I understand the basics.

One final question: Can I play GBA stuff using this cart on a DS Lite? Will it harm the DS to try?

I read a lot of the stickies here but I'm still confused. Thank you all so much for your patience and kindness.

EDIT: The driver issue doesn't occur anymore. I tried the instant save but it just freezes when I press L R Select and B. Also, these .inv files appear in my list of roms.

Overcharging may damage the battery, saves will then not work.

Did you copy them to windows\system32 directory or just point to them? (if it is the latter do the former).

No the software should take care of it all. You might want to patch a DS rom with EZ4 Client beforehand though if you find it does not work.

Instant save/save states, I can not remember the (default) keys offhand. Sorry. In game though if you have the option selected you just hit the required keys to save as you might in an emulator.

NES emulation on the DS, have a read here:

The EZ3 is regarded as one of the best GBA carts, in short yes.

Thanks for the info! It seems that the instant save doesn't really work on most games, anyway, so there's not much to worry about there.
