Hmmm. It says there that NESDS runs fine -- which it does for most games-- but it does not in the case of Zelda and Zelda 2. I've tried with the ROM from multiple sources.
Has anyone actually gotten these two specific games to work?
Several other homebrews are listed as needing a "DLDI swap". I saw a couple of threads discussing DLDI, but I'm confused about what needs to be done in a DLDI "swap". Is this something that's done to the ROM? Is there a tutorial? What is DLDI?

^ Here's some step-by-step instructions to DLDI patch 1. Download a DLDI patcher like this: http://filetrip.net/f80-Pack-DLDI-Patch ... -0-32.html 2. Download the DLDI patch for the EZ5 version you have over here: http://chishm.drunkencoders.com/DLDI/#ez5_note 3. Select the DLDI file you want to use. 4. Select the homebrew you want to patch in the ‘binaries’ section. 5. Click ‘Patch’ and you’re done.

Thanks!
Did as instructed.
Made no difference with Zelda 1 or 2.
Also tried patching Pokey and DS Reader. In the homebrew thread it says it works with "unofficial" DLDI. I'm not sure what that even means. I patched them as listed above, but it made no difference.

Yep. No difference because the kernel patch on the fly the homebrew with the dldi driver found in ez5shell folder (EZ5V2.dldi) even if you have already patched it.
The swap trick that you call the unofficial DLDI, is simply to replace this driver with the one that come in k1.90OB11. Choose the right one, Ez5sdhc.dldi or Ez5s.dldi, according to you microSD type and replace the EZ5V2.dldi in ez5shell folder.

I give up !
If someone wants to help him with a step by step guide (don't forget to explain him how to copy/paste/rename file on a microsd, he seems to not know that).
I'm out ...
