EZ-Flash USA Forum

Hello.
I recently tried using my EZ-Flash Vi on my 3DS, which worked fine until I did a system update for the console (now it's 4.1.0-8E). Now every time I try to but up the EZ-Vi, I get an error saying "An error has occurred, please hold the POWER button, blah blah blah, refer to the operations manual".
I'm not entirely sure which Kernel I have installed at the moment, but to make sure, which one is the one I'm SUPPOSED to have installed for it to theoretically work on my 3DS? Or is the issue something else at all?

Take a DS Lite and tell me which version you have of Ez Flash Vi

It says: "H[805] F[103] k3.0 OB8"

Update your ez5i in firmware v104 first with your dslite, this is very important.
And then update it in v108a. It should be compatible with your 3DS now.

Sorry, but what do you mean "with my DSlite?" As in, update it, put it in my DSlite, update it again, and then put it in my 3DS?

As your ez5i is blocked on your 3ds, you have to use the dslite to be able to update it.
Once updated in v104 and then v108a, you can use it in your 3ds again.
