Mbmax please help!!!

I have the problem of the white screen. I read all coments of this topic. and i have a question... how use the unbricker 2.0? ... i only have a nintendo ds lite and a 3ds. in the bot have the same problem...

There is a readme.txt that comes with the unbricker 2.0, read it fully.

You will need a dslite and a flashcart able to run the unbricker.

Hi, I am trying to set up my new EZVi and I am having trouble figuring out some things...

Can I go straight to kernel 3.0 OB7 and the v108a firmware without any trouble? I keep finding confusing and conflicting information(such as I need an earlier firmware version THEN to upgrade but then I am not sure which ones are safe to initially install) and I want to make sure I understand things a bit better before I try. If there's something that answered my question out there I must have missed it, and I apologize. I also didn't want to start a completely new thread if this was somehow related to this one. D:

The first information you have to know is, which firmware is currently flashed on your ez5i.
To do so, just download the kernel 3.0ob7 and unzip it to the microSD. Copy some .nds game on it and fire up your ez5i.
Go to system setting window and check the firmware version F[101] mean firmware v101.

Hi everybody, I'm a totally newbie, so I apologize if I maake a stupid question....
Nintendo DSi (ver 1.2E) with Ez-Flash Vi whith these values:

VER: H[805] F[15] 2.0 RC10

I would like to use the flashcard on 3DS with old DSi roms, will the flashcard work (maybe updating to this firmware http://filetrip.net/f26992-EZ5i-firmware-update-108a.html) or it won't work at all on 3DS?

To update in v108a you must be in v101 so, download the firmware v101 and the kernel 3.0ob7. Decompress that on your microsd, launch the update v101 and follow the instructions.
Do the same with v108a. Once your ez5i is seen as Soduko, it's ready for the 3DS.

Hi everybody.

I have a question I'd like to ask.

I have ezvi with firmware 107 and the latest kernel. I only have a DsLite, no 3ds or dsi. Should I try to update (with the 2.0 unbricker) to 108a firmware? I'm going to get any bennefit from updating?

For examen, I can't run the rom of Fossil Fighters: Championship, I get a white screen loading the rom, would updating correct that?

The exact same thing happened to me. The firmware updated succesfully and at the end it said to turn off the ds so I did (I'm unsing a dsl btw) but wen I turned it back on the game card wasn't detected. I took it out and put it back in then turned it on numerous times but the ds just won't detect it. I've tried inserting other ds games and they're working fine. Helpppp O.O

it's not really required, but if you wish to be very up to date, you can jump into v108 with the unbricker 2.0.

This game run with special mode enabled + speed 5 or 6 according to this thread : viewtopic.php?f=16&t=16747

I see. your microsd isn't fast enough for the special mode.

Hi guys.

I was with OB 3.07 Firm 103 card 805.
The 108a upgrade failed !

I will get a DS + dstt linker tomorrow but the unbrick tuto concerning the use of homebrewmenu with DSTT is very short : "You must use the HomebrewMenu boot.nds to launch it."

I get this evening HomebrewMenu.zip but which specific files do I need to place in the root sd directory ?

Help says : "Installation on your card is a simple matter of copying BOOT.NDS and the appropriate bootstrap file from the hbmenu folder in this archive. At present we have bootstrap launchers for the original R4, ezflash 5, dstt and Acekard 2(i). Copying all the files will give you a single SD card which will boot the Homebrew Menu on all 4 cards. "

How to execute HomebrewMenu ? command line ?

Too strange tool . Do you have any advises ?
