About my problem...:Untill today it`s been working fine, but now it says "File Extension not found" or something like that, help please?
I have the same problem you do. Everything was fine until all of a sudden today my card quit working. Not sure when the last time I used my DSi was, but it couldn't have been more than two weeks ago. Now I get an "extension memory was not found" message when I try to boot up the card. I thought it was because I added some new ROMs to my MicroSD card and it was too close to being full (about 80 Mb left on a 8 GB card), but removing the ROMs didn't help.
Here's what I have, in case that helps: - Nintendo DSi (North America 1.4U) - Card: EZ-Flash Vi - MicroSD: 8 GB Sandisk - Firmware: EZ5i v14 (I think - the one listed as "stable release" on http://www.ezflash.cn/software.htm) - Kernel: Kernel 2.0 RC7
I also tried the card on a DS Lite and got the same error.
I even tried changing the system date on my DSi because we got the same error on the same day, but no surprise, that didn't help either.
To your request, you have to enable the cheats, RTS and stuff in the cheatmenu. Alter launching the game, you can press "L+R+A+B" to open the ingame "EZ-menu" to reboot, use RTS and stuff

Thank you but how can i open the cheatmenu?
1) select the game, which you want to play 2) tap the 2. icon (an orange button with two arrows) from top to enter the cheatmenu
If you use a other skin, try every button or change it to default in settings

I'm using EZ-Flash V plus
I'm having trouble using this kernal...it works for all my NDS games but I cannot get the GBA 3to1 to work or Rudolph's GBA Xploder to work.
With the 3to1 I get that no pack is installed, with Rudolph's Xploder it will load a game but will not launch GBA's through the RAM.
I am using kernal 1.86 which run's the GBA's fine on Xploder.
I thought I read that you do not delete moonshell to get this kernal to run so my question is should I place the EZV folder with Moonshell on the root of my sd card or should I delete moonshell and run like that which is how i've been trying to run this new kernal.
Any help would be appreciated cuz I like the new kernal just like to play my GBA's as well as the new NDS games.
Ez Flash Vi (has latest firmware on it, as far as I know) DSi 1.4E Kingston 8GB SDHC Nokia 256MB SD (it came with my Nokia phone)
Everything works fine using the 1.9 beta release on the 8GB card, the 256MB card I'm using the homebrew menu launcher as the default application on the card.
I deleted everything off the cards before I extracted the files from the rar file, so there's nothing on the cards from a previous install. Any idea's what could be the issue?
EDIT: Ahh after putting a game onto the card I got it working, shame the game does not - I'll report it on the homebrew bug reports...

K2.0 series only needs /EZ5shell folder and the file ez5sys.bin to run properly. Nothing else, apart your games and saves of course. If you want to read multimedia files, you need to install moonshell 2.06.
About GBA games, no need to use an homebrew to flasg games in the ez 3in1. This kernel is able to do this job. Just use clean GBA roms.
@Steven : do not use very old microSD on your EZVi. This kernel will not run properly on your 256MB ! And last, if you copy only the kernel on the microSD and nothing else, you will get an error. Copy at last one nds game on it.

I have 16GB SDHC Class 4(model USDR316GB http://www.goodram.com/476) from Polish producer GoodRam. Now I am using 1.9b11 because old versions work without problems. Every version from 2.0 Family hangs showing black screen on upper part of NDS and EZFlash V Plus image on the lover screen(The same 2.0 RC7). I have checked 2.0 RC7 on 8GB Sandisk SDHC(copied from 16GB) and it run without problems. I think that the problem is the size of SDHC not the manufacturer of the card. If someone could try and run 2.0 RC7 from 16GB SDHC it will solve the problem or not if it exist and the problem isn't my 16GB SDHC.

Yes you were right it is class 2. I've checked on the SDHC. I think that the NAND chips are produced in Poland not in Japan, but I may be wrong. I'm not 100% sure, but I know GoodRam is polish company.

There is not much microSD's manufacturer in the world. As far as remember there is Sandisk, Samsung and Toshiba for the most well known. GoodRAM is not one of them. They just apply they brand on it. Could you check on your microSD and see the part number ? Should be C16G JAPAN, i'm right ?
If it's the case then it's a toshiba re-branded into goodram.

Mbmax you are right about everything . It's C16G from JAPAN. So it is toshiba and as I presume you can tell my why 2.0 RCX are not working on this type of SDHC. Thanks for help btw.
