Well when i turn on normal card game sleep mode working when i close my DS. When i turn on EZ Flash V and i'm in menu, sleep mode is working too, but when i turn on some game from EZ Flash V microSD card sleep mode doesn't working properly. When i close my DS game is going to sleep mode then come out from sleep mode, then go to sleep mode, then go out of it and so the cycle repeats =_= someone could tell me why ? this is with every game so i cant use sleep mode ;/

I have exactly the same bug on my EZ5 NYE with whatever kernel version and a Toshiba 2GB Japan in FAT16.
In-game sleep mode just made click sounds (like you it try to wake-up/sleep/wakeup/sleep ...) and the green led blink synchronized with the click sound.
What is your microSD card brand/size/made in ?

When did you buy your ez5 ? Is it a v2 (NYE) ?

You can also look this topic.

Ok. So the theory of the microSD is dead.
Well guys, i'm lost now. :(

I think we can consider something hardware.
Or perhaps it's the core code in the actel that is not the same between all the ez5 NYE ...

I hope it's the code.... hardware problem means It'll be hard to fix...

however..... my hopes of it not being a hardware issue grow weaker by the moment

Well you know, the Actel core code can't be updated without opening the flashcart and use a JTAG programmer, so it's the same. :?

actually I was hoping a firmware update would be able to fix a software problem, through a bootstrap loader or something of the sort....

I hope i'm wrong and it's just a kernel issue in the process to detect microSD cards.

pretty old thread.
Have you updated to the newer kernel? 2.0 RC4 is the current (there is a thread about it in the stickies). And then tried to see if sleep mode works (never understood the reason for a sleep mode >.>)?
