Download this firmware : http://filetrip.net/f12017-EZ5i-firmwar ... e-101.html And lauch the file ez5firmwreUP_V101.nds to do the firmware update. Once done, delete this file from your microSD and enjoy the kernel 3.0ob5.

You should have in the root (lowest level) of your microsd, the folder /EZ5shell, the file ez5i.sys.bin, ez5sys.bin and ez5firmwreUP_V101.nds. Copy also some nds games.
The firmware update is not automatically done, you have to launch the file ez5firmwreUP_V101.nds as i already said.
And last, read the wiki in my sig, you seems to be unsure about this update. All is explained.

ok, ive followed the wiki.. i got all the right folders in my root and i got my nds(games) folder. i know i got to automatically update my firmware, but im still getting the black error screen at start up and cant do anything. im wondering if i need a new adapter card...
Dear sirs, I am a long term user of your products. Great product.
Now I have bought another EZFlash for my other daughter's DSi console. The EzFlash has been updated to your last firmware and kernel. It works in a DS Lite, but not in the DSi. The problem seems to be the update to the console's firmware that my daughter made when she tried to access the nintendo shop.
There seems to be a new firmware release version 1.4.2E that blocks your firmware. I was not aware of this release, and your firmware was supposed to work with the last nintendo 1.4.1 firmware (you don't seem to be able to know the firmware version that nintendo is going to install before you update).
The Hardware version of the EZFlash Vi is 805 The firmware version is 103 The kernel version 3.0 OB6
Are you aware of this firmware bricking your flash cards? Are you working in upgrading the flash card's firmware?
Thanks for the firmware update but it seems to have a bug. I have the 103 firmware version and it says that the file is corrupted when i try to make the update. Must i downgrade to the 101 version before going to the 104 ? (Are there any risks of damages to my card if i do this ?) Or must i wait a fix coming for your great team ?
Hello, I just updated my ez5i firmware from v103 to v105 (download from http://filetrip.net/g8161-EZ5i-firmware-update.html). The procedure was successful, but after the NDS restart, when I press the ez5i icon I just get a white screen!
