Windirt has got to get his ass working on these updates OR when the 3DS is hacked he will lose quite a few customers, myself included. Windirt get with it.

Not to argue, but it goes the same in reverse also. I respect Windirt but he has been completely absent on this forum since December of last year. This card costs a lot more so the service SHOULD be better, BUT Windirt hasn't even said a word on this website, so we, the buyers/users, know what's going on with firmware updates. I just wish he would do just that, at a minimum, so I can sleep soundly at night. (LOL) Seriously though, how many updates in a row do you need to wait through to see a card's team is not serious? Now that's the question.

Yes, I agree. It's good to have active support. Don't forget that we've not really needed another firmware until recently becuase the last few 3ds updates didn't block the EZvi, so a lack of support wasn't a big deal. Sometimes EZvi has updates that are faster than other cards, and sometimes not. Could be next few days that we get an update, or a while but that doesn't mean we are forgotten.
It is not quite that simple Sora. http://hackmii.com/2010/02/lawsuit-coming-in-3-2-1/ has a nice overview of the technical situation but in brief they have to find a new game from a list of games (later games can not be used here as they have additional protection) that loads an overlay very early on and recode their jump code* to that game which between the various r4 clones and other cards are not that many in number any more (recall various cards that had DSi/3ds firmware versions that might have taken a few seconds to boot- this would by why). The very first versions did get away with a basic header change (primarily as they had their normal custom icons and text) but it has not been that way for some time.
*that also means getting their firmware specialist in and it is not the same people that handle AP or the people that handles other updates.
If I get a chance I will jump on qq and see if I can not get something (something I have failed to do for several days at present) but I do not know what goes right now.
Yes i know after the launch of dsi the headers of the roms changed so they cant be changed on several flashcarts although before 2008 there are quite a lot of roms which they can use nvm the ds flashcarts are dying.....well its normal :/
I understand that it's difficult to overcome the new update, and I don't mind waiting. But can we at least get confirmation that someone's working on it?
