Annoying problem!

evry skin i've tried, underneath the select bar a thin distorted line appears. i cannot see that i am doing eanything wrong.... i've tried various skins too.

You've discovered the selector bug - the bottom of the select bar gets replaced with pixels from the top screen.

I'm afraid the problem lies with the EZ kernel itself and there is not much you can do about it.

Some skins have worked around the problem. All of Masahiko's skins will not display the bug. Nor will Toad or Minimialize alt.

You can turn on an option to show the selection bug in the preview.

ic. bummer. i guess i can mod my skins so that it doesn't show, but i can't be bothered to do that atm.

I've a problem with the 1.73 kernel... when I use EzSkinner, the .bin file is not upgraded with the desired skin... the program seem to work (the backup bin file is created).
Any tips?

Yes it does!

I've used the old EzSkinner and I've skinned the bin!
In my case, the problem occur only with the new version,
maybe i've lost some file...

finally! i can skin my loader with a skin that is not carbon fire. this ezskinner is awesome!

1.73 is a beta with moonshell for the nds kernel, isn't it? If so, the nds skin is done by changing the images in the shell folder on the sd card wrather than inside the kernel itself. Should still skin the GBA side fine though.

IIRC v1.73 is the latest "stable" kernel dated 20061227.
