I'm all for downloading, but I highly suggest you buy the game, as the developers are new and need the success to be able to produce their next games.

Seems like now the focus went to EZV, the rom list there is faster than here. Izzit controlled by 2 different teams?

Merry X'mas anyway to everyone here.

When you add a DS rom it checks it against the list, if it matches exactly (it checks via a crc32) it will automatically enter a name. If you have added a patch (for example a translation patch) or it is a bad rom it will tell you (same happens if the rom is not on the list). You can still add it though, you just have to type a name in the box on the top left of EZ4 Client.
This is how the list is formatted, everything except the crc32 does not really matter. You can get the CRC32 from http://www.advanscene.com/ and many other places or you can generate it if you have the rom (zip files will have it in, hex editors should be able to make it, there are standalone apps.......).
Code:
example
"2001";"DS Kageyama Method - Tadashii Kanji Kakitori-Kun - Kondo wa Kanken Taisaku Dayo!";"DS Kageyama Method - Tadashii Kanji Kakitori-Kun - Kondo wa Kanken Taisaku Dayo!";"512Mb";"Eeprom 512Kb";"Japan";"7DF67F72";"";"";"gray";

"rom number";"Chinese name";"other name (usually given name in roman characters";"Size in megabit (multiply megabytes by 8 and use the Mb symbol)";"Save type(TBC if unknown)";"region (Japan, Europe and USA are the main ones)";"crc32";"";"";"colour used it if works(gray: unknown, red: does not work, orange: has issues, blue: works fine)";

Remember to have an enter at the end of the list or it will crash the client.

While we are at it the GBA list is similar but does not has roms (it uses some data from the header instead). See the GBA thread for more on that.
