I was wondering how I can get back to the menu when playing a game, both the game menu and the actual Ez menu, is there a button combo? can it also be used when playing GBA games, in GBA mode?

Select+Start+A+B is usually what is built into games to restart the game but not all games have this built in. To restart with a patch IIRC it is Right+Select+Start+A+B.
