Hi, hope someone can help.

I haven't used my EZ Flash IV in a while, and I've come back to it and it isn't working.

I've tried it in both my DS Lite, and GB Micro - when I turn on each, the Gameboy logo loads, then goes to a black screen. I've put the Mini SD card into my PC, and it works just fine, all the files are there, so there is no problem with the SD card.

I've also left the EZ Flash IV in the GB Micro whilst I charged it up fully (I read another thread suggesting the EZ Flash IV internal battery needs charging if left for a while).

Is the EZ Flash IV dead?

Hi

Today, while playing, the same happened to me
internal battery... dont think so (but i dont really know much about these things)

After like an hour being sad
i realize that if i update the firmware, it maybe ....

well after some time i got it to work

Thanks for your reply. I updated the firmware and now everything is back to normal :mrgreen:

For anyone else who runs across the same problem:
I updated with the latest firmware found on gbatemp.net download section - copy over ezfla_up.bin to the root of your SD Card, then put it back in the cart and turn on your GBA whilst holding down R.

I have the same problem - black screen after the Game Boy + Nintendo logos (so the console sees the cartridge). Tried to update the firmware but the screen about updating doesn't show up. I waited but nothing happend. Is it dead?
