Let's start one. Just tell what miniSD card you chose (brand, model, capacity, and speed rating if it has one), and how its performing in your EZ4. Does the Castlevania opening video play smoothly, etc. If the EZ4 is anything like what the M3's been, the performance in playing DS games may be more dependent on the choice of SD media than anything else.

After its determined which miniSD is best for compatibility on the EZ4, I'll go straight over to newegg and buy it.

Most people tend to stick with Sandisk although they are typically the most expensive.

No-one except perhaps the EZTeam and some of the preview sites have really had their EZ4 long enough to do much testing although I suspect a good card now will make life easier in the long run.

that's why we start now. the A-Data cards have apparently proven to be the most successful on the M3-SD. Of course, it is true that there's less variability at this time with miniSD, because theyre all pretty much the same speed. With standard SD there's a few "turbo" cards with read/write speeds of (claimed) 150x.

sorry once again that guest post was me. I need to just give up on up posting here from work. there's no problem with me surfin' a bit, but its a shared network so I'm not setting a cookie to remember me. funny thing is, even if I do log in it fails about half the time.

anyway, i didn't even know there was a wiki on the site for all EZ products until after I posted this today. so disregard, but we should try to get any info o compatible, and problem, miniSD cards into the wiki eventually, doncha think?

Both of mine are Sandisk. Neither one has a speed listed. They are both 1GB. I have had absolutely no problems at all.

Do you know if a Magic Gate 2 gig stick card would work? It's basically for Sony's PSP, but in theory, it should work, yes?

only_1_mac: sorry to say, but a Magic Gate MS Duo is entirely different and will not work (or even fit) into the same slot as a miniSD
