So yeah. I have a problem. I want to play a Pokémon hack and it won't work correctly. I read the thread about Ash Grey not working, but to be honest, it confused me to insanity! I haven't really used hex workshop or any hex editor, because I'm blind and none I've found so far work with my Screen reader, Window Eyes. My ROM I'm trying to play is Pokémon Liquid Crystal beta 3.1 by linkandzelda. I tryed applying fast's patch for Ash Grey to Liquid Crystal but that didn't work, but I didn't think it would. I've done pretty much everything I can think to do. Has any easier method for fixing these problems been found/created? Or can anyone explain the process in clearer terms or something? I don't know what NOR memory is either. EZ Flash is my first flashcart and I got it just today, so pardon my ignorance. Incase this is important, I have gbata downloaded.

Hey,
I'm afraid Liquid Crystal won't run on an EZ-Flash IV because it uses a Real Time Clock mechanism, a feature that the EZ-Flash IV lacks.
However if you're having other troubles with hacked Pokemon ROMs (ones that aren't R/S/E) it sounds like you're patching the wrong ROMs. FR/LG have two versions of the ROM 1.0 and 1.1. I put together a guide for a subreddit I moderate which includes some basic info on ROM bases and patching them. You can find it here
