i have a ezflash IV

The problem getting is playing riviera the promised land , after transferring it to my sd card (FAT formatted) and trying to load it into the NOR to play it , it starts erasing then goes up to 150Mb and stops there and nothing happens after that pressing A or any other button on my gba does nothing i have the latest firmware installed , why is this happening? am i doing something wrong?

What happens when you press start on the NOR screen (and then format it)?
Also can you try writing the 32 megs of 00 file from viewtopic.php?f=12&t=17733

After this the NOR writing side of things is usually pretty sound so it might well be a dodgy NOR.

I get the same problem when trying to write the 32 megs of 00 file its just stuck at "Erasing...150Mb" , i've also tried different versions of the riviera the promised land roms , same thing , tried kingdom hearts re chain of memories , same thing, other smaller games (16Mb like fire emblem) are writing perfectly fine to NOR and playing great

16 megs is technically 128Mbit so that will probably work fine. Sounds like you have an error at around 150Mbit that it can't clear/remap around.
Time to speak to your dealer and get a replacement.

I also removed your picture as it was breaking the page layout. I have a copy if you need it though.
