EZ-Flash USA Forum

hi all,

I have a EZ-Flash IV Lite Compact, but loads of games get a white or black screen when booted.
I downloaded the EZ-Client (EZ_20070521) and flashed with (i guess) the latest version (1.73)
i downloaded the "xml2romlistds" app and ran it. So the i didnt get the "rom is not clean" message.

Any idea what i'm missing ? Or forgetting ?
Or do i need a new(er) card ?

Are you attempting to run DS game or GBA games?

The Lite Compact was not designed for use with GBA games.

I have no experience with the ez4 and DS games, unfortunately.

That is an ancient version, try http://filetrip.net/f4753-EZ4-Client-2009-04-03.html instead.

Also if you want DS games past about April 2009 (even then it was rather spotty) you are going to need to jump to a DS slot device. You might be able to get a few working with third party patches (rudolphs childs play- name of the most commonly updated third party kit although you will still need to run it through EZ4client after).

Also +1 to bugnot- the ez4 compact will only run the very small GBA games (64Mbit- 8 megabytes) or smaller.
