I want to play games in my GBA, however the cartridge doesn't work on it. I want my EZ IV works on my GBA. How can I do? When I insert the cartridge and switch my GBA on, it doesn't appear anything. Well, I remember that it used to work well 4 years ago.
If you have not used it in 4 years the battery is probably toast but it should still boot up.
Have you cleaned the contacts on it (cotton bud/qtip and some rubbing alcohol/pure acetone nail polish remover being the usual suggestions here) - 4 years even sitting in a draw causes a lot of nastiness to build up on it.
The Ez flash IV works perfectly but it doesn't work in GBA. In fact, if I want to play a DS game rom, it works. The problem is about software, I think I need a program or something else to let the Ez Flash IV work in GBA. Thanks!!
My apologies I think things got lost in translation.
If I understand it You have an EZ4 that worked fine but you let it sit for a couple of years.
Now you want to play some of the stuff the GBA has to offer but when you put the EZ4 in a GBA nothing happens (no messed up logo or anything). However when you put it in a DS it works fine (I missed this part from your original post).
This points to one of both things supposed to be making contact between the pins on the EZ4 and the pins on the GBA. We see both of them (the EZ4 and the GBA) have dirty pins that prevent contact often enough. Cleaning the pins will tend to sort this (proper contact cleaner is nice but a cotton bud (hisopo?) and something that is good for cleaning electronics will do in a pinch).
The EZ4 should work in both GBA and DS mode (it was a selling point of it as the older carts like the EZ3 had to flash a DS loader or a GBA loader) and it was like that from day one. Still if you want grab ezfla_up.bin from http://filetrip.net/nds-downloads/flash ... f4753.html and try flashing it from the DS.
