The one I recieved with my ez flash iv card doesn't work, it gives me this error when I try to update the kernal :


The only answer I've been able to find is to just buy a new micro sd card.

I've been able to find these :

Or would buying a more expensive, genuine Kingston 2gb micro sd card be the wiser choice?

If I can actually fix my problem with out having to buy anything, could you let me know, because that would be awesome

If that is a GBA cart size EZ4 we instead suggest miniSD. They are getting hard to find these days and I am not sure what to find one around your neck of the woods (a quick search of NZ sites turned up auctions and sites just using it as a keyword) but those microSD to miniSD adapters are pretty poor overall and lead to things like you are seeing there. Your best bet is old mobile phone shops and that for that matter old mobile phones (just not the 64/128 pieces of junk they often shipped with)- many consider miniSD a fairly worthless format and if you make an offer they will tend to part with them.

Equally if you can help it never buy flash memory from Hong Kong or China if you can (even dealextreme).

Thanks a bunch =) I bought a mini sd card off of Trade Me [NZ's ebay] which I'm waiting for now. The seller said it does support the FAT file system, so hopefully I won't have any more problems and I'll finally be able to play on my GBA!
