Greetings,
I have laptop made by Uniwil, model 258KA0.
It has an AMD mobile Athlon64 3700+.
It's bios is version 1.02 - maade by AMI.
This bios has absolutely no hooks for the
user to adjust aanything of the features provided by AMD,
such access to C2, C3, Cool&Quiet settings, ...etc.
Uniwill will not discuss any support for this laptop.

The latest BIOS for this laptop was released by Uninwil in 2006,
and it is version 105.
http://www.uniwill.com/UserDownload/258KA0/258KA0.php
I tried to use their flash utility to flash this latest bios.
It failed to flash, with the message:

D:\>F82745.exe 258ka5.105
Cannot load VDM IPX/SPX support
Error 18 - Chipset/Flash part isn't available. The function will be invalid.

So a subscriber to the fedora users mailing list suggested EZ-Flash.

So, I came here seeking help with this problem.
Thanks.
