Just thought I would let people know that the chinese forums are back online. This includes their English counerparts.

As of now there are no EZ 1/2 3 or 4 software updates. Rest assured, as soon as they are, I will grab them for the rest of us to get.

I hope they release an update tomorrow that will allow the new super mario to run. Top Gun runs fine.

Yeh, there is a notification on their site. Updated again.... It's gone again. Another (and I'm going to add: supposed) DDOS attack. :roll:

This is getting crazy. Either they're having us on, or someone really doesn't like these guys.

No trace route, no pings get through. Oh well, back to watching episodes of COPS.

I saw they were up, went there and they were down again.

There is a method to get the new SMB game to run however:

This might work on the EZ4, but it won't work on the EZ3. I tested it already. Well, not that specific name, but I tested out the EZ4 Client prepatching idea.

there's a new update on the chinese forum with codedate 20060508. yeah, chinese forum is working. starting to think slade might be right with his "conspiracy theory," but at least there's something new to look forward to when they get around to translating it.

And Hanafuda is correct. The chinese forums are up. On a temporary server, it looks like it's an external host, almost like a free forum host. I really haven't hung around very long to look.

WHOA! NSMB being released is a way bigger deal than the servers being up!!!!!! Hope there's a patch soon.

BTW I see that they mentioned this forum on their front page as the place to go when their forum is down! I hope it doesn't give anyone ideas of DDoSing this server. :/

Yeh, it doesn't work. Well not on the EZ3 again, and not with the new EZ4 client and double patching it. Tested that already.

About time I went to bed.

It even seems that the link for the (english) forums on the .cn site is for here not just in the newspost.

Raeca even had a bit about the new SMB game working for the EZ4 so I guess it must be on then.

The version of the new super mario I have is obviously no good. The EZIV client tells me it is not a clean dump and may not work. The EZIV client is correct. Not working for me. I guess I have to find a different release, unless someone knows how to fix a non-clean dump.

The new SMB game is not a clean dump (it even says as such in the NFO: http://nds_nfo.gbatemp.info/image.php?gt1032 ).

I guess if it works though.

I wish it worked on EZ2 powerstar. But it doesn't. I tried with ezclient 3.25 -> Blank screens...

If anyone knows how to make it work on EZ2 ?

Due to a nice monitored internet connection I can not grab it and test it/find a way to get it work.

All I can suggest is a decompile/rebuild of the rom with ndstool (preferably an older version).
